This initiative is being housed within the University of Manitoba through Wa Ni Ska Tan: An Alliance of Hydro-Impacted Communities.
Wa Ni Ska Tan represents an alliance of Cree, Anishinaabe, and Métis communities, researchers from the university community and non-governmental organizations, who work together to draw awareness to complex and interconnected implications of hydropower as they relate to environmental, social, cultural, and health impacts.
