Little Limestone Land Learning Camp

Our Land-Based coordinator, Ashley Wolfe and a couple of other team members from Kis Kin Ha Ma Ki Win connected with community members at the Little Limestone Camp to participate in some traditional activities. The activities included birch bark peeling, sturgeon filleting on the beach, sewing, and beading. During the camp, the team also was given a boat tour and got to take part in a storytelling session followed by language sharing, and racing games. There was also a demonstration on how to make a birch bark canoe and drum frames.
