5 – Day Campus Internships in Manitoba
Youth and chaperones participating in our land-based camps will have the opportunity to link the camp-based experiences with those occurring in on-campus science education.
Internships will include visits to research labs located at the University of Manitoba and UCN focusing on environmental contaminants, plant ecology and GIS, wildlife biology, agriculture and the health sciences. Guided tours of campuses at the University of Manitoba and UCN will also be organized as will tours of relevant government research labs.
Students will have the chance to identify what labs they want to intern at, and will work together in groups to develop and present their research.
